Ever wondered why media promotes gender stereotypes and how that affects our view of the world around us? Our guest today Nitasha Syed is a computer engineer in Silicon Valley. She couldn't figure out why women in the mainstream media were always boxed into stereotypes like 'popular, pretty girl' or the 'smart, ugly nerd'. She needed to break the notion that being good at one thing doesn't mean that you had to be bad at the other.
